Seventy-Seven Times

Forgiveness is by far one of the hardest acts of obedience to follow. Not only are we expected to forgive, but Jesus tells us to forgive our brother seventy-seven times. Why? Because He knows we mess up everyday.

About me

Your walk with Christ will often lead you to unexpected places. Mine led me here — a space dedicated to encouragement rooted in Scripture.

My goal is simple: to stay in the Word, grow in obedience, and encourage others to keep going — especially when spiritual growth feels slow or stagnant. This space isn’t about performance. It’s about persistence. About showing up daily before God and choosing faithfulness.

I invite you to grow with me as I seek scriptural guidance for everyday life and continue drawing closer to God. My hope is that through each post, you’ll not only get to know me over time, but more importantly, come to understand the strength and stability found in grounding yourself in the Word of God.

Set A Guard

As a young woman, my mouth was terrible. Truly. I used to pride myself on my sharp tongue and quick comebacks. At my worst I'd use my words to chop a person into the smallest possible pieces aiming to crush them completely. In maturity and wisdom, I learned just how harmful words can be and started to seek help and guidance to help overcome that behavior.

Every Living Thing

Only a few people know it, but deep down I really love animals. From the smallest to the greatest, they absolutely fascinate me. At the end of the night, right before bed, I often find myself watching videos of them in their habitat.

Perspective

One day last week, I was so wound up I couldn't focus on anything. There were several things on my mind and I didn't know what to deal with now and what was next. There was nothing out of the ordinary happening; just heavy doses of the same things that were usually at play.

Play To Win

All games have players and rules. The game of life is no different. And in order to win in life, you have to know the rules and understand the position you play. The first thing you should know is that you are a child of the Most High God, so you are automatically on the winning team.
