Further, Faster

The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line. Yet somehow our decisions often lead us down a more scenic route. The scripture tells us that if we follow God's instructions, He will make our paths straight. This means He can take you further, faster.

About me

Your walk with Christ will often lead you to unexpected places. Mine led me here — a space dedicated to encouragement rooted in Scripture.

My goal is simple: to stay in the Word, grow in obedience, and encourage others to keep going — especially when spiritual growth feels slow or stagnant. This space isn’t about performance. It’s about persistence. About showing up daily before God and choosing faithfulness.

I invite you to grow with me as I seek scriptural guidance for everyday life and continue drawing closer to God. My hope is that through each post, you’ll not only get to know me over time, but more importantly, come to understand the strength and stability found in grounding yourself in the Word of God.

Closer

If you've ever found yourself drawing closer to someone you most likely experienced a curiosity towards them, a sincere interest in getting to know them and an urge to dig further into the details that surround their life. Would you be surprised if I told you that drawing closer to God should feel the same way?

Why We Worry

Growing up with 4 siblings afforded me a built-in, all-in team. Need some wheels? We got you. Need money? We got you. Need advice? We're here. Things had to be really, really bad for me to go to my parents for help. And I mean bad. Fortunately, I had excellent parents who loved and supported me always. And as long as I was under their roof, they took care of everything.

Give Generously

Some people are simply givers. They give freely of their time, money and any other resource available to them. They're the ones we call first when we are in need and they are the ones who offer their help before you can ask for it. Everyone is happy to see these people walk in the door and look forward to seeing them again.

Seventy-Seven Times

Forgiveness is by far one of the hardest acts of obedience to follow. Not only are we expected to forgive, but Jesus tells us to forgive our brother seventy-seven times. Why? Because He knows we mess up everyday.
